Grading criteria

The following criteria are relevant for determining grades:

1) Content

  • Was the talk technically accurate?
  • Did the presenter cover the main points of the paper?

2) Presentation

  • Was the talk well organized?
  • Were the slides easy to follow and understand?
  • Was time appropriately managed?

3) Insights

  • Was the presenter able to critically evaluate the material presented?
  • Did the presenters have additional insights to the topic beyond what was covered in the paper?

4) Questions

  • Did the presenter give clear and correct answers to questions?

5) Participation

  • Did the student actively participate in discussion of other presentations?
